Inspiring Light: American Landscapes Pt 1
Arkansas
I spent 3 months in America this year with Monkey Baas Hitlers Daughter. We toured theatres in the mid-west, south and south east. Plus we got to spend 10 days in Alaska.
The country in America is amazing. If you drive just a few hours down the road the landscape can shift dramatically. I constantly found the light inspiring as it played across all these different spaces. Much to the chargrin of my co-driver in the truck I insisted on taking a whole lot of photographs.

A Better Place is an experiment using lissajous figures generated by a virtual phase correlation meter. Audio manipulated in Renoise and Reaktor. Visuals created in vvvv. Original sample by 43.

It’s a very basic particle system that morphs from one text string to another.
